
Feed-In Tariff
Feed-In Tariffs (also known as FIT’s) are the electricity part of what are also known as Clean Energy Cashback, a scheme that pays you for creating your own ‘Green Electricity’. They are only available to customers utilising Microgeneration Certification Scheme accredited installers and products. The current tariffs provide guaranteed payments for small-scale electricity generation .

- A reduction on your standard electricity bill, from using your standard electricity you produce yourself
Renewable Heat Premium Payment
The Renewable Heat Premium Payment scheme is a one-off payment designed to help you afford renewable technologies for your home including:-
The amount received as part of the RHPP depends on which technology you are applying for. It is only available from 1 st August 2011 to 31 st March 2012 .
The Renewable Heat Incentive is a Government operated scheme, similar to Feed-In Tariff for electricity. It is a fixed penalty paid to the householder for any renewable heat generated. The RHI will come into effect for domestic customers in Autumn 2012.
